ABOUT STEINER EDUCATION
Steiner approach to early childhood education is based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher who attempted to find a link between science and spirituality and who founded anthroposophy.
The Steiner curriculum is designed to be responsive to the three developmental stages of childhood. The Physical from 0 – 7 years, The Imagination from 7 – 14 and the Spirit from 14 – 21 years.

CREATIVE PROCESS
In a Steiner classroom the colours evolve from warm, reddish tones in the early grades, through energetic orange/yellow around third grade, into the middle spectrum greens around fourth and fifth grade.
It is here at the half-way-point of childhood that a kind of balance is achieved just before the onset of puberty.
The brief was to create an up to date consistant brand for the school. I wove in the consistant evolution of the colour palette throughout the print material. I tried to emulate the heart and beauty of a Steiner classroom.
With handcrafted illustrations and flowing ribbon swirls floating through each page to show the circle of the connection of teacher, child and parent.
