STEP 1: Discovery

The first step to any project is research – learning about your business and goals, your difference, the industry, target audience and competitors. This is done by filling in a brand questionnaire before we further discuss during a call/ video chat (if applicable). The 50% deposit is received at the beginning of this stage.

Step 3: Design

This phase involves refining the concepts that work best for your brand. These are brought to life first through the development of the logo and then the branding elements. Once the logo has been approved, the colour palette, typography, layout treatment, illustrations and graphics are developed in stages starting with 2-3 basic stationery items to evolve the style and direction before rolling out across everything else. Designs are presented with options and mock-ups to show the logo and brand direction in situ.

REVISIONS + APPROVAL

Once a design option has been chosen we work together to fine-tune and finalise by making tweaks and changes where necessary before final approval. The final payment is due before the next step.

Step 2: Concept

Once we have an understanding of who your brand is, and where you see it going, we begin with the creative thinking. I’ll put together a mood board (in Pinterest) based on what we’ve discussed, to start developing your brand’s look and feel and send you some examples that I believe could work. You highlight any that you particularly like and approve the overall art direction. This is followed by rough sketches and concept drafting behind the scenes.

Step 4: Delivery

Lastly, the final files (as included in your package) are prepared and delivered via a link for download. These include any PDFs ready to send to print, your logo in multiple formats, colour swatches, as well as the brand guidelines document (in PDF) on how to use your new brand identity to keep it consistent and intentional as well as an explainer document about the different file types and how to use them.

We’ll book in a final hand-over call to walk you through all your spiffy new files and brand elements and how to use them going forward so you can feel confident and prepared with your new brand.

And voila! You are now ready to launch your dream brand!
